i got this 1 piece grip for my taurus 608. the grip never fit right. everytime i shot, the grip moved around on the gun. the gun had 2 gaps in the backstrap of the gun. so i tried trimming it here and there. never got it right. finally i cut the grip in 2 and continued to customize it. i finally found that the inside of the grip that goes into the arch on the underside of the backstrap was what needed trimming. i bought another grip for it. about 5 careful minutes with a dremmel and the grips fit great. they are really comfortable to shoot with and with my large hands and the finger notches make the gun more controlable. i just wish hogue would correct this so i would have only had to buy it once without customizing.
