Very happy with new grips. OEM grips kept splitting when firing and were 35-40$ to replace. Also rubber grips absorb more of the recoil so the first time shooter is more at ease firing. My local dealer was also interested in this grip as they have had many complaints of the P22 grip failures. Taurus would do well to just sell this gun with this grip as a feature. Also it is best to use better quality ammo in this gun. I''ve tried numurous,and low quality rounds tend to misfire.

This is the single most important accessory that can be added to these wonderful little pocket pistols, It turned my Taurus PT 22 from a difficult to grasp, inaccurate handgun into one that was easily controlled and capable of exceptional accuracy. These grips do not slip. Period. Being a dao semiautomatic the Taurus PT 22 has an exceptionally long trigger pull. Although quite long the trigger pull is fairly light (6 to 7 lbs.) and smooth. With the factory grips I found the gun fairly hard to control and shoot accurately. These grips made a world of difference, the gun is easily controlled thru the entire trigger pull, and this little gun is capable of amazing accuracy for such a very sm .22 pocket pistol. I highly recommend this product, it''s a real bargan.

The wrap around grip is a big improvement over the stock grips. A narrower, easier to handle profile. A 5 star rating if the fit was just a bit better( right side not a perfect fit). Maybe a quality control problem. Would buy again.

This is the second set of these grips that I have ordered, and with good reason. Although the checkered wood grips that Taurus uses on its PT22/25 are very attractive, they are difficult to grasp securely and are rather uncomfortable in use. The Pearce wrap around grips are made of a rather soft rubber material that is not only secure in youR hand, it is also very comfortable in use. As the PT22/25 Taurus pistols are double action only and have a rather long, heavy trigger pull, the Pearce grips change this pistol from being uncomfortable and difficult to fire accurately, to a comfortable, accurate pistol that is a delight to shoot. I''ve not had the chance to test fire the Taurus, since replacing the wood grip - BUT - I have to say that the tolerances on the Pearce Grip are VERY close. I had to trim some of the rubber off the palm (right hand use) side of the grip, in several spots to allow the spring loaded trigger slide (?) to recover. After that, the grip fit perfect and works well in dry fire. The grip feels more comfortable and I would recommend it, with the caveat to check the rubberized thickness during installation.

Grips are much too thick. And that is much, much too thick around the barrel release lever. I had to trim this part with a knife and dremel tool to even use it. Other than the thickness problem, and it is a real problem, I liked the feel of the material and found the gun easy to hold onto, so mounted them anyway.

These grips fit correctly with no modifications or adjustments necessary. They go on easily, look sharp, and the price was good. The grips make this little PT22 of mine easier to grip.
